Hoi An – the city with history, yellow buildings, skillful tailors, biking tourists and gorgeous nights. Hoi An ancient town is UNESCO World Heritage Center. The city is famous for buying tailor-made clothes. You can get almost everything tailor-made: from suite or ball-dress to shoes and bags. Prices are also very reasonable.

An everyday dress can cost you 18$, and you can get a coat for 45$.
The city is full of nice and modern restaurants for every taste and price. For those who wants to save and go local, you can find amazing food at the market. A regular meal would cost you here around 1-2€ and will taste amazing. We ended up eating at the market almost all the time.

It was raining most of the time when I visited Hoi An, but it didn’t prevent me from falling in love with this beautiful place. Narrow alleys, yellow buildings, bridges and rivers, street-food callers, market with tasty food inside, beautiful pagodas – it’s all Hoi An. Rainy or sunny, it looked just stunning. This city won’t leave you indifferent.

Few travel tips for Hoi An.

*** If you travel budget, do not book the hotel in advance. There are plenty of places to stay and you can always find something cheaper then offered online. We ended up taking the hotel offered to us at the bus station as we arrived and we liked it. However, if you are very picky, you might wanna do some research in advance.

*** Rent a bicycle and bike around the city, go across the bridges and visit the beach. There are 2 beaches: the beach where you can swim is 4km away and another beach is 5km away from the center.

*** Try sweets from the street-sellers. I tried almost everything and I liked it all!

*** Go inside shops, art galleries, pagodas, basically go inside everywhere you can get in. There are lots of creative shops, galleries and exhibitions around the city. Most of such places are free to enter. There are however few places where you have to buy a ticket.

очень, очень красивый пост, с атмосферными фотографиями. захотелось сразу закусить булочкой с банановой начинкой, опустив ее в плошку с джемом, которая на картинке.
